Built for revenue · Case study

A scattered stack, turned into one connected system.

Marketing, sales and service unified in HubSpot for Stories Flooring, a flooring retailer, with Shopify kept in place, so the team can finally see the full customer picture in one place.

The outcome

What changed for the team.

One connected system
Three tools consolidated into HubSpot, Shopify integrated rather than replaced.
One view of the customer
Lifecycle, history and next step across marketing, sales and service, in one place.
Reporting they can act on
Dashboards across every hub, so decisions run on real numbers, not guesswork.
Before
  • A fragmented stack across Shopify, Klaviyo, Mailchimp and Gorgias.
  • Customer data, marketing, sales follow-up and service queries all in different systems.
  • Operational drag, with duplicated effort across tools.
  • No single system holding the whole customer story.
After
  • One connected HubSpot revenue system, Shopify kept where it belongs.
  • Marketing, sales and service working off the same customer record.
  • Less tool-switching, less duplicated work.
  • Lifecycle, history and next steps, all in one place.
The challenge

The tools were working against each other.

Stories Flooring ran a fragmented stack across Shopify, Klaviyo, Mailchimp and Gorgias. Customer data, marketing activity, sales follow-up and service queries all lived in different systems.

The result was operational drag and, worse, no clear answers. The team could not easily see a customer's lifecycle, their history or the right next step, because no single system held the whole story.

What we built

One connected HubSpot revenue system, with Shopify kept in place.

Four disconnected tools became one system, so customer lifecycle, history and next steps sit in one place, owned by the team.

  • HubSpot CRM setup. Custom properties and sales pipelines that reflect how the business actually sells.
  • Marketing Hub, replacing Klaviyo and Mailchimp. Email automation, segmentation and landing pages in one place.
  • Service Hub, replacing Gorgias. Ticket pipelines, live chat and support automation, joined to the same record.
  • Shopify integration. Ecommerce transactions kept intact, with order-to-deal cloning for visibility.
  • Reporting dashboards. Across marketing, sales and service, plus training and go-live support so the system is theirs.
The work

A real retailer, real product.
